currently + loving | EAT, MOVE, LEARN
stumbled across this and had one of those, "why didn't i think of that?!" moments. the following 3 videos ("EAT", "MOVE", LEARN") were directed by Rick Mereki and filmed by Tim White. Andrew Lees is the "actor" in the scenes, which portrays the travels of the 3 young men in a trip of a lifetime.
all the videos are pretty fantastic, but my favorite is "MOVE". check it out for yourself:

i've been quite the busy bee lately, so posting new content has come to a stand still. however, i hate to disappoint! here's a little invitation i worked on recently. remember rachel & shane's wedding? well the couple has been visited with more good news, this time coming in the form of a adorable bundle of joy.

book + lust | 30-second theories
visited my local b&n today and came upon a lovely hardcover book series by Paul Parson. the series is based on 30-second explanations on a range of topics from theories, philsophy, economics, and politics. the books make a great coffee table addition for its quick and fun content, but what really drew me was the beautiful brown paper cover and fantastic graphics.
it's currently on sale, so i'm thinking of going back and grabbing one to add to my growing collection of inspirational books. will be sure to post some scans of the pages if i do, but in the meantime check out the lovely covers:

sometimes you just stumble onto something that you instantly fall in love with. recently, i came upon the work of graphic designer and artist extraordinaire Elaine Fong. her use of color is amazing, and i am really digging the way she's able to create pieces that at first glance seems busy and chaotic, but a closer look shows a beautifully organized and well designed piece of art.
